Giving Opportunities

Charleston Collegiate Annual Fund
Proceeds from the Charleston Collegiate Annual Fund are applied to the yearly operating budget that covers such expenses as faculty salaries, fincial aid, physical plant, equipment, and classroom supplies.

Capital Gifts
There are various named giving opportunities available.

Gifts-in-Kind
Gifts-in-Kind are gifts of goods or services rather than money, for example, computers, furniture, or playground equipment. Receipts for gifts-in-kind are issued with the value of the gift based on the current market price for the goods or services donated.

Collegiate Scholarship Funds
The successful growth of the school requires that we attract more students in two especially important categories under our Collegiate Scholars Program. First, we are seeking exceptional students of all ethnic origins. The leadership scholarships are designed to attract students with outstanding ability in academics, athletics, and the arts. Second, we are seeking minority students with good academic records who will increase the diversity of our student body. At 16%, our minority enrollment is the largest in any independent school in Charleston, and we want to see it increase. As leaders by example, both types of scholars will exert a strong positive influence on their classmates.

Under the Collegiate Scholars Program, 90% of the cost of tuition and fees is covered by a sponsor, and 10% by the family.
