What COVID-19 safety precautions are being taken? We are well versed in COVID procedures and protocols, we have been able to keep our school open for in person classes this school year and ran a successful event Run Like the Devil in October of 2020 by implementing social distancing, managing capacity, wearing masks, and utilizing strict sanitation procedures. This year we are utilizing our beautiful outside campus by setting up garden lounge spaces where party goers can take advantage of being apart of a small group. We will follow the most updated protocols and procedures that S.C. DHEC provides in regards to masks, etc. Stay tuned as we get closer to the event for up-to-date information. Will dinner be served? Yes! We are thrilled to offer a delicious 3-course meal. Upon your arrival, you will receive a picnic bag filled with delicious appetizers to take to your seat. For dinner, visit one of the stations for a chef-plated entrée. Finally, end your dinner on a sweet note with boxes of individual desserts.
Will there be a bar? Yes! There will be an open bar. What is the attire? This year's garden party attire will be smart casual and outdoor chic. The premier garden tables will have standard table seating. The lounge areas will have seats and low seating such as covered hay bales that are lower to the ground, plan your dress style accordingly.
Men, jackets are appropriate, but they are not required. Khakis and polos are also appropriate for a garden party. Straw hats are optional, but we do find them very dapper!
Ladies, many gals will wear long or knee length dresses or skirts, floral fabrics would be perfect for this garden party. A good alternative to a one-piece outfit is a pretty blouse and pants. Wedges or flat sole shoes will be best for the outdoor terrain. Sun hats or wide brimmed hats are encouraged...think Kentucky Derby style!
What is the seating situation? There are several options for seating, from blanket covered hay-bales to traditional dining tables.
The Standard Garden Lounge seats up to 4 guests. Enjoy picnic-style dining on a variety of seagrass ottomans and blanket-draped bales of hay.
The Premier Garden Lounge seats up to 6 guests. Enjoy picnic-style dining on rattan loveseats, chairs, and seagrass ottomans.
The Premier Garden Dining Table seats up to 6 guests. Enjoy traditional dining at your beautifully dressed table.
While we are encouraging guests to purchase Garden Lounges or Tables for 4 or 6 and to organize your desired group together, individual tickets are also available. This option includes picnic-style dining in an open mixed-seating area which includes cocktail tables, picnic tables, and ottomans for lounging.
Are sponsorships available? Yes, there is a gold and silver level. Sponsorships include your choice of either a reserved garden table or lounge. Also sponsor event signage, an ad in premier location of auction program, special Recognition from CCS leaders and Auctioneer during the event. We will also include your logo which will be featured in online auction website along with CCS social media posts thanking your business or family.
We also have some fun sponsorship opportunities that include the option to sponsor the music, cocktails, or dessert! Where will we park? For garden lounges and tables for 6 along with sponsorships there will be VIP parking near the event, other parking will be available in a nearby lot. Please contact us if a handicap parking arrangement needs to be made. Will there be bugs? We will do everything in our power to minimize the bugs! We are working with a pest control company to provide advanced treatment prior to the event along with providing insect repellant, if needed, at the event.
