In today’s world, our children need to be able to think on their feet and pave their own paths. We instill an entrepreneurial mindset in our students beginning with our youngest learners, and encourage them to be able to “think outside the box” while creating a vision and a plan to execute their ideas.
Whether it is creating a student-run business or raising funds for a non-profit, our students are not afraid of taking calculated risks with goals of producing something great! Students design and build prototypes, apply business plans, enter business competitions, and even raise their own start-up funds!
The Entrepreneurship program introduces students to all aspects of starting a business, including personal finance and current economic events. Students create a business with a marketable product and idea for the purpose of serving a small community. Students learn the daily operational elements of businesses and create a business plan for starting and financing a small business. They then continue to acquire skills for expanding business opportunities and develop the ability to adapt to the changing environment of their consumers.
We encourage students to find their passions, look for opportunities, and take risks while seeing potential failure as an opportunity to grow.
